Maon "Moon" is a rescued owner surrender from South Carolina.
He spent the first two years of his life in a garage, then until the grandmother surrendered him, he was in a backyard.
Needless to say, he has very few life skills at this time.
He is very low drive, doesn't understand toys, but is coming to love treats.
He is very defensive and reactive right now, and will not be adopted to anyone with children.
Moan is great with other dogs, and tolerates puppies. In the way that adult dogs have of tolerating obnoxious pups.
Maon needs a working dog savvy adopter. Even though he may never develop working dog drives, he is still cut from that cloth.
Please give Maon an opportunity to find out what life is supposed to be like.
He isn't really happy about car rides.
He is house trained and asks to go out.
He has a basic recall, only because he wants to be with the human on the other end of the long line.
He appears to prefer women.
Loves to tease the men in the kennel, and growl/grumbles them.
Maon will snap if you grab his collar to force him.
