Have a penchant for the old west and Western novels that take you there? Our Louis L'Amour will bring you that warm homestyle feeling just being around him.
Louis lost his home, and he is really lucky that he did. He doesn't understand it, but there is never any reason for a man to beat a dog, and this is what Louis had been living with until he finally stood up for himself and growled at the dude. He was then dumped at an animal control to be euthanized. This is and was totally uncalled for. He is a good boy, and was in a situation where he was pushed into survival mode.
Louis is currently in training to learn that life doesn't have to be like what was. He is sweet, lovable, plays with balls, fetches, sits, downs, and comes when called.
We just don't understand it!
Louis does guard his food bowl and toys. There were young boys in his former home, this is not the ideal situation for a dog to grow up in when you have the type of father figure Louis endured.
The ideal home for Louis would be a couple who are quiet, no kids, and loves long walks. Given the opportunity in a fenced back yard, Louis will do zoomies around you with joy.
