He swallowed a squeeker at 8 weeks, and had to undergo gastric surgery. Swallowing things is a Belgian Malinois puppy trait. It is an expensive trait, and you are so very happy when the dope finally learns to spit and all things going in the mouth are not to be swallowed.
Aeron is a lover, and he seeks touch. He never meets a stranger, and thinks all humans are supposed to love him.
He is not really high drive, but living with someone other than a 67 year old partially disabled female would change that.
He loves new adventures, car rides, french fries... Likes to chew on inappropriate objects, so must be monitored, the other day it was a pair of batteries that jumped out of the remote that he knocked down sniffing...
He runs the fences at the kennel against any dog who will run and growl with him. He is not as dog social as he should be, and jumps on strange dogs. He is fine with all the dogs he lives with, which is currently a six pack of wieners, and an elderly beagle.
He barks an alarm when someone comes, and runs to the door. Then, is almost guaranteed to jump on anyone who comes in, cause he knows it is to see him personally.
He is a bed hog, and wants to be cuddled in the morning. He is house trained, even to the point of if he decides to be sick in the middle of the night, he will make sure you let him out...
Oh, and he lives to play with a flirt pole, or be swung around and around on a sleeve.
So, if you have stamina, a sense of humor, and are not really married to all your possessions, Aeron could be the dog for you. Ah, and his name is Gaelic for "Carnage, Slaughter"
